Basics Kits 2026...a huge success, thanks to so many amazing people!
712 kits made!
We are just SO extremely pleased that we were able to do this for the 8th time and by golly, what an impact! We were able to get a kit for every single student at Dekpor Basic and then also our sponsored kids who are in apprenticeships and university. 712 kits!
Each kit contained 6 pairs of underwear and then the girls also received 4 camisoles while the boys got 4 undershirts. It took 6 adults 7 uninterrupted hours to manage to sort all the items! Yikes!
As much as you enjoy loads of photos of kids on our website and socials, the hidden truth is that so many do not have anything under the clothes you see. What a boost this is...think hygiene, health, comfort, and self-esteem.
